Summer afternoon tea launched

Not that you need any excuses to hide away from the crazy outdoor heat these days, but our new afternoon tea will surely help you to cool down! ;-)

Our new sweet selection

On the left hand-side, the sour cherry kiss is a delectable fluffy sour cherry foam piped on a shortbread and filled with a sour cherry semi-pris, all of this coated in a thin layer of dark chocolate. The middle one is an adaptation of a pastry you have seen before on this blog with mango, coconut and coriander. The macaron is filled with a beautiful blackberry filling; simple and clean. The shooter glasses are filled with fresh berries compote, a generous portion of tres leche cake and topped with a soft vanilla whipped cream.

Overall, we wanted to have it fruity and refreshing for the summer!

Dulce de Leche Ice Cream Lollies!

For the summer we have replaced our traditional tray of pastries with a selection of daily specials everyone coming for tea will get!

We started our selection with some rather remarkable dulce de leche ice cream lollipops; some crunchy cannoli filled with chocolate, orange and pistachio ricotta cream; and delicious churros bites served with an oozing chocolate sauce!

    The passion put into the Arvo Tea here is truly on top of this world!

    I have a feeling HK will start to surpass Britain when it comes to afternoon teas very soon, if not already!! Keep up with the good work. In the meanwhile, I have definitely got to pay another visit to here even though I did already a few times before I left HK! : )

      It’s a sort of meringue but MUCH different ;) We use inverted sugar and sour cherry juice as main ingredients…
