Stilton, what else?

We hosted a British themed evening and, by far, my favorite feature was Stilton!

The party was at night and the lights were moving in the room, so shooting photos was a bit difficult!

PS: I sampled some excellent cottage pie and apple crumble on that night ;)

…and maybe a few pieces of Stilton!

I prefer Roquefort ;) But Stilton is yummy too. What’s the chestnut pastry composed of? Looks tempting

  Kind of same here… Fourme d’Ambert still tops my chart of blue cheese (by far! :) but I was very pleasantly surprised by these farmed Stilton cheeses!
  
  The chestnut is a base of puff pastry, a vanilla cremeux (packed with vanilla beans!), a thin layer of milk chocolate (the one we use has yogurt powder added to cut the sweetness) and the top is a chestnut and dark rum cream – highly addictive if I may say ;)
